These past 4 years without you have been such a turning point in my life. I have laughed and cried alike. My love will always be so strong for you. The past couple months have been really a struggle, my family has come upon hard times and most unfortunate events. I listen to your soul through your music and I know you would beleive in me and give me the strength to make it through.. I love you Papa and I never stop dreaming of you..

I played harmonica for Al from 1979 to 1987, and that time is still the best I ever had making music. Al was not only a great musical influence for me, but he demonstrated every day what it took to be a Man. I was talking with him about bringing him to Western NC the spring of 2005 and one day in July he did not answer the phone. I miss you man. I am fighting lung cancer now and you are still an inspiration to me. Tom
